CAD Integrations with COTAK

As part of COTAK the project team will work with interested agencies to integrate mapping data from their Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Automated Vehicle Locator (AVL) systems. These integrations are not intended to replace CAD or paging systems; rather the goal of these integrations is to improve the situational awareness of COTAK users by showing the positions of app users relative to the mapped points from CAD and AVL.

Above is an example from Jeffcom 911 of what this CAD and AVL data looks like integrated into COTAK. This data is available to all COTAK member agencies based in the Jeffcom 911 service area through special TAK channels. If you would like to work with us to develop your own CAD and AVL integrations contact us at support@cotak.gov, note that integration services are provided by the COTAK team free-of-charge on a best-effort basis, but your CAD vendor may implement their own charges to provide access to your CAD data. The COTAK team is not liable for these charges, and cannot guarantee the ability of a CAD vendor to integrate with COTAK.
