    Windows firewall and more often a VPN can play havoc with WinTAK functionality. In some cases they may prohibit connection to the server or device GPS altogether (if equipped).

    In this case they can also block video traffic into WinTAK even though WinTAK may appear to be otherwise functioning properly. If you click a drone/UAS and then the play video button but see only "loading" or a failure error -- review your setting and turn off any VPNs and possibly Windows firewall. Sometimes you may need to contact your agency IT department, while others ChatGPT or a simple internet search can guide you through it.
